Environmentally responsible bin cleaning
No more offsite bin cleaning
Binco’s revolutionary, new and unique bin washing system is a real breakthrough. Now you can clean bins onsite and fully comply with all the latest statutory regulations. Binco cleans bins quickly, efficiently and safely, providing peace of mind.
Binco offer a total bin management cleaning system for commercial sites throughout the UK
We are a British company and have developed a unique bin cleaning system that is fully compliant with statutory legislation – including the Water Pollution Act 1991. It has been designed to be both environmentally responsible and financially efficient. The Binco fleet handles waste on site, meaning that our trucks are entirely independent of a customer’s refuse collection.
Our fully enclosed, automated hot wash system means that:
-
All bins are fully enclosed while washing.
-
All water is treated and recycled.
-
Operator involvement is kept to a minimum.
-
Neither operator, bystanders nor your premises are exposed to splashing or overspray during the wash cycle.
-
In addition, a separate clean water system ensures that natural residue (for example, mud) can be removed from bin exteriors and your bin store safely and efficiently.
About us
Why Binco
Current alternatives fall short
When reuseable waste containers become dirty they produce nasty odours, provide a breeding ground for bacteria and attract flies and vermin. Existing bin cleaning alternatives are unsatisfactory, being largely non compliant or come with a big environmental overhead.
So what happens now?
Cleaning onsite
Bins are washed onsite, with all the associated risk to personnel and potential exposure to fines (risk of
being in violation of the Water Pollution Act 1991).
Cleaning offsite
Bins are removed from site and replaced with others that have been cleaned at a specialist depot. This involves heavy lorries travelling to and from site with all the associated environmental overhead.
Costly and inefficient, both financially and environmentally, this can be a real problem for the industry.
Eliminating risk
Commercial waste producers from councils to retail establishments have ever increasing commitments to waste legislation and a general duty of care to both their employees and the public. The entire waste process entails risks for the producer – risks that the Binco system can eliminate.
Manages waste while washing
Binco’s purpose built fleet is the only one in the UK capable of handling waste during the washing process. The patented system retains bags and seals rubbish during the cleaning process and returns it on completion. This allows for maximum efficiencies when route planning. Enhanced time management and fuel economies mean more bins can be cleaned for less.

Lightweight by design
The Binco Bin Washer is specifically designed to service demanding waste streams including food waste. This avoids the need to clean bins off site – saving water and reducing the environmental impact.
Binco uses a fully enclosed, fully automated high pressure wash system to achieve a superior level of cleaning. Each wash cycle can take less than a minute meaning bins are cleaned quickly, efficiently and safely.
Specifically designed with safety in mind, all the controls and systems have been developed with safety and efficiency in mind. The wash plant uses an auxiliary engine which means the vehicle is stopped and secured before cleaning commences.
Binco’s purpose-built vehicles make for easy road and site access allowing for efficient route planning and also reduces the likelihood of damage to driveways and client property.
How it works
Clean & Green
Environmentally responsible
Binco is the most environmentally responsible commercial wheelie bin cleaning system available in the UK today.
Fuel efficient
The wash plant itself runs on a number of fuels including bio-diesel and operates completely separately from the main vehicle engine. This means the engine can be switched off throughout the wash cycle to save fuel.
Green technology
Binco cleverly harnesses green technology using solar panels and energy recovered from the exhaust system, while the vehicle is in motion, to maintain heat in the water for advanced cleaning.
Fully sealed environment
The wash process is carried out in a fully sealed environment where the water is filtered at very high speed. It is then treated, recycled and reused. Water
is kept safe, free from contaminants, and water consumption is kept to an absolute minimum.
Our environmental policy
We use the minimum quantity of water that we are able to during the wash cycle.
We use customised cleaning vehicles which radically reduce the chance of causing pollution.
We recycle our water throughout the day by passing it through a series of filters.
We use the minimum amount of detergents – and only bio degradable products approved by the Environment Agency.
For more information, see the Environment Agency website.
All contaminated materials and waste are removed and disposed of in accordance with The Environment Agency guidelines.
All water used in the wash cycle is discharged at an agreed foul sewer connection as agreed with the local water authority.
We do not allow any waste water to pass into surface water drainage systems.
Tracking & Reporting
Remote monitoring
Binco trucks are constantly monitored centrally via a bespoke GPS internet-based onboard system, enabling route changes to be made seamlessly as well as ensuring the safety of the operators at all times.
The system can automatically inform clients via email when Binco is onsite as well as reporting leaving site and confirming the bins have been cleaned. Clients can log onto the system to download the relevant confirmations including date stamped images
